What affects the estimate?

Repair pricing depends on how much material is damaged, what is behind the visible board, building height, finish work and whether gutters must be removed.

  • Linear footage of damage
  • Wood, composite or wrapped finish
  • Hidden sub-fascia damage
  • Height and access
  • Painting or metal wrapping

What a complete quote should cover

  • Assessment of visible damage
  • Removal scope for affected material
  • Compatible replacement and finish plan
  • Coordination with gutter attachment

Common questions

Can new gutters attach to rotted fascia?

No. The attachment area needs to be structurally sound so hangers remain secure under water, wind and debris loads.

Is soffit the same as fascia?

No. Fascia is the vertical roof-edge surface where gutters commonly attach; soffit is the underside of the roof overhang.
